Base Model Headlights converted to LED Headlights?
Im looking to see if any base model 3IS owners have converted their headlights to the f sport led headlights since mine has a some damage and wanted to see if converting it was error free or anything.

I don't see why it wouldn't work unless the plugs are different (not sure if Lexus would supply a whole new body harness just for the front headlights) Check parts diagram. You might have a splitter or something on the actual headlight you may have to repurpose for your needs. I remember my CT200h had a plug on it due to that model coming with two light options. Or buy a used damaged headlight on eBay and try plugging it in. Worst case scenario you'll have to make custom plugs (not hard) I'm pretty sure its just a matter of supplying 12V. The high beams may be a bit different for the LED vs the bi-xenon. The bi-xenon will probably have a trigger wire for the solenoid to activate during high beams. Which you'll have to figure out how to active the LED projector. Will take some homework for sure!

Here's some pics for comparison:
HID:
LED:
I notice the HID has three plugs while the LED has one plug. Hope this helps you or anyone else trying to figure it out. Maybe someone has wiring schematics to help.
