Hi all!

Im now on my second Lexus and its a 2016 is300h fsport s and quiet happy With it.

I have some issued that i would like to solve if possible.
First of is the seat belt buzzer that keeps whine. I could turn this off on my last Lexus is250 (2006).

Can this be turned off on 3rd gen? Please tell how, and please do not tell me about the safety, that is not you concern.

Information screen:
It seems on display we can only program to see 4 informations that can be pre programmed. I cant seem to cycle throug the rest of the information else where.
Im talking in the dashsceen and when you move the fsport culster to side and get the information screen.

There is no way to see the other information else where?

To turn off sealy belt chime you will need to code the car to turn it off. I have my seat belt chime off as well as my miles on the cluster. I also muted the turn signals &a coded the key fob to roll windows down when holding unlock.


Used a program called carista and a cheap wifi obd reader from eBay.

Do you have to get a wifi model? Will a bluetooth one work?

Dealerships will usually not charge you a dime to update those settings (such as all windows go down as you hold your unlock button, interior lights stay on time, etc...) if its like within 10,00 miles or so after purchase (really depends on the dealership). They give you this checklist and you mark the ones you want done, if you wait after owning the vehicle for awhile, they will charge you to change those settings (they quoted me $70 in southern california).
