I agree, Lexus IS next gen better come with a better design otherwise I will switch brands, its disappointing that a corolla has better headlights that a premium car as ours. 😡

Wait so the non f-sport and f-sport have the same headlight design but one uses HID and the other LED? that wouldn't make sense. I would think they would both use LED now? I haven't really read into it.
As far as which performs better... that's a complicated question. Mostly, HID does. But LEDs are advancing. Depends on the projection setup. Size for size, HID performs better. To get better output from LED, you need a larger projection unit. This is why LEDs are moving into multi-lens arrays. They can optimize light distribution over several projection units. This is why triple beam LED wouldve been so awesome on the IS. Now all ISs look basic from the front with the old-school single large projector. Like it's a freakin' 2006 Camry or something. Yuck.

LED HEADLAMPS AND LED DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS
Make your presence known even before you arrive. The unique headlamp design employs striking LEDs that not only illuminate your path, but also give a brilliant, high-contrast impression. Housed in the aggressively low front fascia, these headlamps are a bold addition to the spindle grille. Inset daytime running lights (DRL) accentuate the design and can make your Lexus more visible to vehicles approaching from a distance.STANDARD ON: IS TURBO F SPORT, IS TURBO, IS 350 F SPORT, IS 300 F SPORT, IS 350, IS 300
HEADLAMP DESIGN
New LED headlamps feature intelligent high beams, maximizing illumination of the road ahead.

I don't know why Lexus US are holding back the Lexus is, since the one projector headlight looks ugly IMO.
This is the middle east version.
