Default Cleaned my car with steam today.. My thoughts (pics)

Been lurking around YouTube and some other forums contemplating whether to clean my cars exterior with steam or not. I originally purchased the steamer because I wanted to clean my filthy interior on my G37 coupe. Worked great! It was pretty nice today so I decided to take on the exterior of my Obsidian IS.

What I used:

Micro fiber clothes (about 7)

Steamer (got mine from harbor freight)

Water (only used 3 bottles of Poland spring water, to lazy to bring the machine to my sink lol)

Waterless Wash product (had one in my closet)

Mind you, my car was washed about a week earlier and I drove it everyday this week so it was pretty dirty.

Method: started at the front fender and worked my way around the car. I started from the top and worked my way down and across. Left the hood, roof, front end, and wheels for last. Whole process took me about 1 hour. Had lots of steam left over so I decided to do the inside of my door jambs and under the hood which was another 30 minutes.

My cars 1 year old with about 8k on it. Dealer did a ***** job prepping the car I had scratches leaving the day I got it with that being said I need to do a deep polishing but for now this was a good alternative. No discoloration or water spots like people have said on other discussions. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a water supply like my self. Sadly I only took some after pics of exterior.

Steam is nice. I usually get a company to steam wash my IS. I had it done like a few days ago. It cleans the car well, especially the interior. If I had the steamer, I'd do it myself too. But hey, it looks good man. Good job.

How did you use the waterless car cleaner? Steam first then spray and wipe?

I sprayed the area with waterless cleaner first, then steamed and wiped in a single motion. This dip help a lot. The key is to lubricate the area you are steaming so you can drag as least debris as possible. When going over an area a second time (which doesn't happen often) there's no need to spray cleaner a second time as the areas most likely been cleaned of all the crap.

I thought about applying a basic spray wax afterwards but got tired
