If you had to replace your 3IS today, what would you replace it with?

Same here. I just love the look of the 3IS. Unfortunately the current GS seems 'stale' to me. Maybe in a couple of years I will consider a 2 year old RC F. Or maybe even a CTS V....😁...until then I'll continue to enjoy my 3IS F Sport!!!

I'll toss another wrench into the gears: the BRZ/FRS. Very different car, but it was what my decision came down to the first time around, BRZ/FRS vs. IS200t. If I lost my car this instant, I would probably get the BRZ/FRS to experience something different, but I know that the IS200t is more livable in the long run (which is why I ended up with it).

BRZ is cool... if i were a teenager. I respect it for what it is. But that car doesn't even cross my mind. Compared to an IS/3 Series etc, That's an entry level teenager's first **** box to be honest hahaha. f that.

I'm starting off in my professional career, so I wanted a car that would be something I'd still want to get in 10 years later: the IS. The BRZ/FRS is livable enough for me now, but in 5 years, the circumstance may change. If I bought based purely on driving dynamics, it would have been the BRZ/FRS. On a more cynical note, I'm sure the BRZ/FRS wouldn't cause as many assumptions about me at work, but that's a separate story for a different time. Like I mentioned the first time around, I would get another 3IS regardless as my needs and economic status haven't changed too much in the last year.

I'm turning 40 this fall and I'd happily take a BRZ as a fun commuter/weekend car to toss around.

I would go for another IS if they make the new one as or more capable in handling with a stiffer chassis. Also would like to see an improved V6 but the current engine is still good. Using the IS 200t 4 cylinder turbo as an example, Lexus has a far far way to go to be competitive with BMW turbo engines.

Definitely not a Lexus. In today's marketplace reliability alone is not enticing enough. I would go for something that goes faster than it looks (like Lexus of the previous generation) rather than something that looks much faster than it goes. Besides, in areas such as infotainment user interface and hybrid drive Lexus has stagnated and didn't keep up with the competition.
