Lexus designed the paddles shorter so that it will not block some of the dash warning signs on instrument clusters. I can see the bigger ones already blocking part of cluster.

Hmm...I do see your point there. But honestly my eye level is above the paddle shifter so just from the angle i can see the entire cluster while i'm driving. and even if some warning light happens to pop up that i somehow missed, i'm sure that little hole on the top of the extensions will let enough light through for me to see it

just got this in the mail paid $13 extra for faster shipping. Shipment took 2 days to arrive.
the quality is surprisingly good and fitment is spot on

This option isnt available on their site anymore. 19-29 days is too long for these, but you know its coming from china. I found the same thing on ebay with faster shipping but it costs 25 bucks more incase anyone is interested.

I'm glad I came by this thread tho....I hate not being able to reach these paddles during a turn from 1rst to 2nd gear.

Yikes - the price of these paddle shifters really skyrocketed! $180 for aluminum? A few us got them for $69 shipped from China. Too bad Aliexpress ran out at that cheap price. Hopefully they come down in price once they do another manufacturing run of them.

BTW, your link doesn't work any more, so I did a new search:

Hmm...strange...even my link went up to 169.99.

I bought the item for 109.99 which is still way too much for this mod imo lol. I just really find myself annoyed while turning without long enough paddles in first/second so I had to get it...At least mine will be coming in this week!.

You got a deal compared to what they're asking now!

They definitely give you more reach options. But I'd temper, your expectation a bit on what these can do. Expect less, and be happy for more!

Although they are longer and allow you to reach them where you couldn't, you can't change the geometry of the original design. These paddles still require them to be pressed along the sides within a specific angle range so that it pivots left/right. You have to have the right leverage to do this. Unfortunately, pressing the top tips of the paddles tries to pivot them up/down- which isn't as designed - so it won't move the shifter.

Anyway, they are really nice and give a more premium feel - they do give more reach options, so hope they meet your needs.

They still work efficiently when you pull at the top?
