When my Bluetooth is on I cannot get my phone to play any video sound..... I have been through every setting in the car and on my phone. Anyone else having that issue? HELP

What do you mean video sound?

Like your watching YouTube and it doesn't play through the car speakers?

Yes... exactly. I have to turn off Bluetooth and unplug the phone to hear anything.
Of course I am NOT driving when I'm watching videos!

Are you also plugging it in via the USB port to charge it? Just wondering if there's a conflict if you use both (even if just for charging).

I have tried it both ways, plugged into the USB and unplugged. Sound doesn't come through either the Bluetooth OR the phone.
Should I be able to listed to the music on my phone w/o having it plugged into the USB?

Yes. You do not have to connect the phone via USB to stream music to your car radio.

Chances are you phone is only configured to be used as a phone with the car.

If you go into the Settings on the car you can configure your phone as a music source too.. That is probably why your not getting anything.

I have a iPhone 6S and my sound does not play if my Mute switch is on.
