I brought my brand new Lexus in for service and the fact that the silver **** which controls eco etc broke off...this seems to be a manufacturing defect to me! They claim it is not,,,anyone else have this problem? Very unhappy!

They should fix it under warranty. Dealerships around me will do nearly anything to keep customers happy even replace steering wheels and rehang doors if you think it's got a weird gap or something.

Try to get the dealership to try to help you on it again. If they do not wish to help, go ahead and call Lexus corporate to step in to assist.
