Ran my stock 350 AWD at the drag strip tonight
Temp 83 degrees @ Great Lakes Dragaway in Wisconsin.
Best ET of the night:
60' - 2.174
1/8th - 9.278 @ 76.83
1/4 - 14.327 @ 96.97
Best MPH was 98 MPH with a 14.349 ET.
2.155 60' on that run.
Traction control off
Sport + mode
1/4 tank of gas
spare tire out of the car
brake torque off the line
Shift points are much higher when you put it in Manual mode. The computer still shifts for you so you don't need to touch the paddles.
all in all I was a little disappointed. I was hoping for a 14.0 or a 13.9X
Maybe when it is cooler.
My buddy ran his 2012 BMW 550 and clicked off a 13.39 @ 105.

When you put it in Sport+ mode with traction control off, the car won't shift it for you in manual mode for the RWD version. I've bounced it off the limiter before.

I was not aware of that on the RWD. Basically the paddles are useless on the AWD when you have the gas on the floor. Normal driving they work great.

You may get a better time if you completely disable the trac (hold down the trac button for 5-7 seconds), that should help with the launch off the line. Also not sure if it holds true on the AWD model but when trac is completely disabled, the computer will NOT auto-shift for you. If you do the shifting and let it rev a little higher than the auto-shift points that may also help your time. Dropping a few pounds of air out of your tires will also help with off the line traction and help your time.
