DFW test fit/install diffuser
Just got my Skipper diffuser, took it to a local guy who said the material is very thin, fragile, and would be surprised if it was made well/symmetrical as apparently most are not. Long story short, said he wouldn't install/test fit it out of fear of blaming him for poor fitment on the manufacture side.
Anyone know a place that will? I'm around Lewisville/Grapevine area but will adventure if needed.
(Not too much going on in the local chapter section so I posted here)
Also, does a test fit entail taking off the entire bumper or can I do it myself?

If you're referring to the front bumper lip/diffuser, all you have to do is remove the 6 or 7 existing bolts under the bumoet, and install diffuser using the exact same bolts. If it's an authentic Skipper product everything should line up perfectly. Should take no more than 15 mins.

You want something done the right way? I would go to Steve's Automotive Refinish. He used to work for Park Place Lexus so he's familiar with their paint, and he also works for Lockheed Martin. Does quality work every time. He installed my front Aimgain replica lip with nuts and bolts for $100. You'll probably have to swing by, have him look at it, he'll schedule an install date and you can drop it off and pick it up later. Let him know Paul with the white IS350 referred you. He's good people.
