Default Lc2i ML system

Has anyone used a lc2i (line output converter) on their ML system? I'm looking for a wiring diagram to use and reviews on how well they like it with and without an aftermarket subwoofer.

It would be nice to have a single go-to thread to answer everyone's questions about the lc2i and how to properly install an aftermarket amp tapping into the correct wires.

I forgot to take pictures but I just had that installed in my non ML system last weekend. They mounted it to the car behind the carpeting on the right side of the trunk

If you're just looking to add a subwoofer, don't forget you can buy amplifiers that have high-level inputs and tap directly off the subwoofer poles or the high-side speaker wires on the high-side of the amp.

I did it this way with this amp:

Much simpler install and much less junk in the trunk.

Are you running an aftermarket sub? How did the lc2i affect your non ML system? I'm wondering if it will improve the subwoofer without distorting the sound.

I plan on running a 12" sub but still want to be able to have the stock 10" sub sound good when I turn the bass **** down because it sounds super distorted when the radio is past 30
