The chip seems so small, not sure if they could really do anything for you. The shop I'm referring to is Secureway Auto Glass. You can give them a call and see if they're willing to fill it for you free of charge. Even if they did charge for some reason, I can't imagine it'd be anywhere close to $100.

Yeah, that what I'm guessing. It small, but if you run your fingers across it, you will feel the groove that the rock made. I'll see if there is anything to be done. Whether it is done professionally, or with a DIY kit. I'm just concern that over time, this may cause the windshield to crack.. Less than 3000 miles on my car right now

Good thing its not in my line of sight, or else it would drive me crazy. Might just have to live with it. =\

You can go to any local window repair shop(for cars). They usually can fill it for roughly $20

If you look at the chip and there is no web like design in the chip. You are fine. It will not crack more from hot/cold. But if there is slightest web like design. It will crack eventually. I also have a chip on my windshield. But luckily it didnt have a web in it. So i left it alone. Everything's still good.

Yeah, it doesn't have any web designs either. Probably not big enough to get it filled. =\

I'll have someone look at it and see tho. My insurance does actually cover this thru safelite.
