I own a V1 and have had one for a loooong time.

Best way to avoid tickets? Waze and a CB Radio on channel 19.

SW Orlando <-> Northeast corner of NJ. 1,101 miles door to door. 15 hours including stops and in about 20 trips never a ticket.

This is minor, no doubt there are probably instances where the cop is there but it isn't reported yet. Must have happened to quite a few.

I would like get a bad cop radar, I like the good cops.

You can't go wrong with an escort. Although I feel that any radar detectors are useless on freeways and alerts way too much in the cities.

Why do you say they're useless on freeways? I would say that's where they're most effective because you have minimal false alarms, and a clear view of the road ahead. My 9500ix will sometimes pick up police close to 2 miles ahead. Plenty of time to slow down and ponder life before approaching.

Yes I ended up getting the passport max 2 and I love it. Works great way better then the valentine from my opinion. It will lock out and you can mark areas on the escort which is amazing
