Test Drove the New Q50s Red Sport the other day !!
Got out of work early the other day and was just messing around looking at cars at the Rolls/Maz/Bently dealer and the Infiniti Dealer is next door. I was just checking out the new Twin Turbo Red Lines and one of the guys threw me the keys and said take it for a spin. All I have to say is lexus better step up their game in the power department if it doesnt want to lose some of its market. Although the looks of my IS are much more sexy, that V6 TT was a blast to drive. Also I read they underrated HP and TQ....... Its got my attention for sure.....

If I was in the market, I'd consider it. 400 hp could easily help me get past two touchscreens.
I think the Q is a good looking car and I am sure this will do well.

Toyota/Lexus build great cars but it's well known the lack of power is a turn off for some potential buyers. I personally like the look of the Q50 and you can never go wrong with a stock TT 6 cyl once the mods for more power become available. I'm curious to see how the tuner world will do with this setup. They have done great with the bigger TT 3.8 6 cyl in the R35 GTR. I actually hope Nissan puts this new motor in a Z maybe bring back the 300ZX

But Lexus definitely needs to step it up in the power / performance department. Every competitor is surpassing them when it comes to that and although probably the great majority of people that own a Lexus doesn't have one for the performance alone, all the reviews and talks on cars might persuade buyers to go to the competition because they are "faster" and have more power etc... even if the Lexus is the better car and they don't even really care for the performance but since the review says the competition performs better they go and buy that just "because"...
