Default Possible to install power tilt steering wheel?

Before my current is250 FSport, I had a 2014 is with luxury package which includes the power tilt steering wheel. Before that I had a few cars with the same option, C300, is350.. Nevertheless I really miss the option. Has anyone installed this on there car without the option? Thinking of buying a steering column from a junk yard however it's clearly not a plug and play option.. Anyone?

No but I would like to have it retracted after engine is turned off

YES! One of the features I miss from my Jeep Grand Cherokee ... "Easy Exit" ... The seat slides back and the steering wheel moves up when the truck is turned off. Returns to the saved position when the truck is started.

Unless it does it automatically when the car is turned off, I can't see it being that convenient ...

It does retract both the seat and the steering column when you shut the car off. You can even set the distance to which the seat will retract (way back, or halfway). And when the driver gets back in the car and starts it, the system knows from the key fob which setting to use for the column and seat. Wonderful if you have two or more drivers using the car!

Well slap my silly and call my Susie ... I don't have that option ... My Jeep GC had it and I loved it!

I miss this option.. It's helpful when getting in and out mostly.. I have long legs so I keep the wheel low when driving and move it when exiting, most times.

This option was one of the reasons I chose the base model with luxury package over the F-Sport without.

The 350 F Sport with VGRS has the auto tilt steering wheel, just not the auto seat.

It does automatically. It came with VGRS Variable Gear Ratio Steering. I believe they took that off in 2015+ models.
