Default Is there a cheaper option than enform?

I want the remote start option again, with the app for the iPhone. Just wondering if is possible to do without spending the amount lexus wants for enform.

You can still remote start by pressing luck button 3 times but last click hold until car starts. As far as on the iPhone I think there's that smart start app that Best Buy advertises.

You'd still need an Enform subscription for the Fob remote start to work.

OP, what year is your car? If it's a 2014, there's a thread about a remote starter system that some people have been able to get working.

You can always just do the monthly subscription. It's $18/month if you don't want to pay the $219/year. I had that on my IS after it expired. I leased a new one so I'm back with the 1 year.

If you want to use the three click key fob to start the engine, you still need the be subscribed to Lexus Enform for that to work.

I believe there is a thing called Lexus RES+

Lexus will install a device to remotely start the engine. However, there is a monthly subscription to use this feature. Plus, labor and installation fees.

Might be worth just going with the $220 enform subscription. Mine ran out as well, and I've already caught myself coming back to an unlocked car... I love the unlocked notifications, remote start, valet features etc. It's not cheap but it is a great package and you won't have to deal with having anything new installed.

I'm thinking about:
Viper SmartStart Remote Start System

Does anyone have it installed? Does it work?
