New guy with new guy questions
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes nothing...
Was looking at picking up an IS250. Test drove a couple. Have been looking at a 2015 is250 fsport. Had a few questions though and hopefully you all can help. The fsport is the only one that had a **** where the mouse/joystick thing was. I have been trying to find pictures online but all the pictures show the mouse/joystick. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the car not having navigation. Navigation is not something I need/want since I live on an island and prefer using Waze anyway but would like some clarification.
I was also curious as to why the back tires are 35's and the front 40's?
Has anyone had issues with the LCD instrument cluster? It looks nice, and the moving thing is cool albeit I don't see much use for it but it sure looks expensive to fix.
And finally, are the ***** for the menu/drive mode easy to replace? The ones in this car are slightly worn and while not really noticeable, it's something I would look at replacing.
Still haven't decided between this, a nx200t, or a different is250 but it's on the short list.
Yes, I know I could Google a lot of this but this is kind of a spur of the moment post before bed. Plus I wanted to test the waters.
Thanks for your help, hopefully I join the community soon!

Ahh that makes sense. I didn't notice the back tires were wider. To be honest I didn't look at the tires of any of the is's I drove except this one. Thanks.

Base model IS has the same tires all around. The F Sport and Premium Package come with upgraded wheels and tires and give you a more "sporty" look and feel with the wider rear tires. In order to keep the rolling diameter the same so that the speedo is correct, the tire in the back must be a little more low profile.
If the **** is an issue, I would talk to the dealership and see if they will replace as part of the deal for your buying the car from them.
