Strange Noises at Startup
Hello all,
I have an is350 f sport. I've noticed that it will make some strange noises at startup when it has sat for a few hours. Best I can describe is that it sounds like stomach cramp noises.
Any ideas?
Matt

I think I have also what you are describing. Mine only happens when the car is parked for and hour or two and has not completely cooled down. I have narrowed it down to the mid to rear of the car. I want to say the cats are making the noise but I'm not positive. Mine almost sounds like a pitch vibration or bird noise. It's been doing it for 15k now and my dealer can't find an answer either. It also happens when it's warm out as I don't hear it in the cold winter months

when my wife first heard it, she thought it was my stomach. Sounds just like stomach cramps. It didn't do it today, yet.

I've heard the same thing. I would describe it as sounding like a stomach groaning too. I seem to hear mine coming from the console, sounding like it is below the shifter. If I start the car in a quiet place I can hear it almost every time.
