Directly from the Lexus Downloads page FAQs:
26 . My multimedia system is no longer working after I tried to install the files.
You will need to take your vehicle into the local dealership for service.
If it freezes every time, sounds like a trip to the dealership may be your only recourse at this point.

hey, if you leave the USB plugged in for about 5-10mins that should go away and your navigation screen should pop up..
I updated to the latest version as of today:
Version V15A8872
The update released on: Aug 17 2015
I didn't have any issues before the update, but this is what I noticed so far after the update.
The warning/continue screen to Nav takes about a second instead of 4 seconds like it used to.
The cursor/pointer on screen is MUCH smoother.
The menu loads a bit faster it seems like.. maybe 0.4 seconds from 0.7 seconds..
These are the differences I noticed right away in the 3 minutes I had the car on. I will check out the navigation speed/voice command improvements as days go on.
P.S. I had to try 2 different type of USB drives. The first 8gb one didn't work for some reason, but the second drive (4GB) worked like a charm..

Im a tech specialist at Lexus, and we did encountered a bit of lag when updating to current softwares.
Once you update the car and restart it, the screen would lag for like 10 mins. Just let it sit, it should be back to norm afterwards.

Read the instructions carefully guys.
You're supposed to leave the USB drive after starting the ignition the second time. If you removed the USB drive it will keep looking for it. You're not done with update until after the second ignition and Navigation caution screen completes.

My nav system contains Arabic language support, so will this update remove my language from the system?
