Default Cabin Air Filter

Where did everyone buy there cabin Air Filter if you replaced it yourself. I called the Toyota dealerships and they told me they don't have any that fits for the Lexus and referred me to the Lexus dealership. Lexus dealership told me it was like around $70 and I think that's overpriced

Or if you don't care whether the filter is OEM or not, you can get 'em on eBay for about $7 delivered.

you could also extend the life of your filter and use compressed air blowing from the inside out to clean out dirt and debris

$40 is nuts. that's more expensive than the engine air filter that's sold at the dealer, which only cost me $20.

check amazon, you can buy decent carbon ones for less than 20.

I bought the cabin air filter at AutoZone for like $12. The brand is STP and I'm happy I didn't spend $40 - $45 on the OEM filter.

My dealership quoted me 70 buck for it, that's like way over price

Agreed. No brainer. Very easy to replace yourself.

Click the button on the bottom and get a 20% code if you buy it online...then go to the store and get it...$16. Beats the stealership and saves you $55

I wish this forum site had a "like" or a "thumbs-up" button. This previous reply by Avi8orco is one of many that deserves one. Admin, are you listening?

I own a motorcycle and I'm a member of a rider forum site called (www.riderforums.com). The site has a "like" button on every comment. Here's an example:

When I go on the website, it says the part does not fit my vehicle (2015 IS 250). Do all 3rd generation use the same filter models?

The OEM ones are a Japanese part, which is why they cost more. The ones you want to try to avoid are the ones with "YZZ" in the part number are not Japanese part as the quality is not the same compared to the ones in Japanese one even thou it is cheaper.

You can buy the OEM charcoal one from here.

From this eBay seller, sslexus-parts. Below in the link for the 3rd gen charcol filter.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-IS250-...-/131348253433

I purchased the 2nd gen equivalent one from this seller and bought a second one for a Camry since the fit the car as well.
