Looking into getting this done also, was wondering if anybody knows where i can get a good rear brake caliper cover since it's different from the front calipers, would make it easier to apply the decals i want...?

My IS250 has finally got it's complete brake swap from JDM RC300h FSport (actually the same parts as IS350 FSport boasts). The calipers are professionally painted - solid black with two-color metallic "F" logo (and clear coated, of course) - a pure GSF style ) The rotor hats are painted in matt black. Endless SSM pads inside )

easy to do , no mess, i would recommend it

These photos are of my 2015 GS350 F Sport (RWD). I experimented on my car first and it went "OK". I used aluminum foil and painter's tape instead of cloth or paper to shield areas I did not want painted. I am thinking of repainting them again to blue, yellow, or orange. The red doesn't stand out like I thought it would.
Now that I've built a little confidence in the process and in the product that I used, at some point in the future, I will paint the calipers on my wife's 2015 IS350 Convertible. It is burgundy in color. Any suggestions for the caliper color to go with the burgundy?

leo877, Indeed it does look cool. You must have a pretty steady hand to have painted that. You did well. How difficult was it on the "steady hand" meter? How long can it go between touch ups?
