It bothers me that we have all of these GIANT fake air vents. How about either make them functional or make a nice smooth aerodynamic bumper.

I have had a 2IS 350and a 3IS 350 and both have these air catching do nothing features.

The large right intake is for transmission oil cooling.
The large left intake is for engine oil cooling.
The two small side intakes in the main grill is for brake disc cooling.

Good to know. Thank you. I just wish Lexus would have thought of this years sooner. Oh well, another reason to trade!

that's a pic of an RCF, are you sure a regular IS F Sport has the coolers also?

I thought the 2IS F-Sport also had functional air scoops in the bumper.

They are functional but the question is whether they need to big this GIANT, probably not.

The ISx50 does not have an engine oil cooler or transmission oil cooler in those spots, the vents are non-functional. The brake ducts are functional however.

Whilst I think the update will look better in the metal and probably grow on you over time, I can't believe Lexus didn't update the wheels for the FSport!

Whilst the LFA styled wheels are definitely one of Lexus' better designs, they look tired and out of place on the update.

Probably should have upsized to 19's and ditched the full painted look for a machined alloy/painted combo. The RC350 FSport wheels aren't perfect but this update definitely needs something like this stye with more pop.

I also think Atomic Silver probably wasn't the best colour choice to debut the update - particularly with the same painted wheels carried over.

Personally I think the wheels are fine. much nicer than the RC wheels.

I agreed, the RC wheel is horrible to clean too.

Me thinks original IS wheels actually much more attractive than RC wheels, but that's just me only.

Why hasn't there been any more videos released of the 2017 IS? Only 1 video and it didn't show much of the car inside.

Is this model still using discs for the NAV or is it hard drive?
