Good thing I didn't buy mine a month ago. I was ready to pull the trigger but when I searched online and found that the 2017 IS was going to get a refresh, I told the dealer I was going to wait for the 2017 first...that was a good idea. The teaser pic is awesome and I'm sure this time around I'll be pre-ordering my very first IS. Can't wait for the reveal next week!

It was state of the art back in 2005 with 306HP, but today just about every manufacturer has surpassed it.
GM now makes 340HP from their 3.6L

Seriously Toyota, step up your game
10 bucks says we'll get the "brand new" engine from the 2016 gs

Very interested to see what the MMC will bring for the styling of the car, and if parts can be swapped out with pre-mmc vehicles

Maybe this is the general final shape of bumper refresh possibly?

****Updated with larger image of the same picture

Good find, but the car could have a larger vents from the front similar to the GSF. Additionally the headlights are not the same as the official teaser.

Thanks for the good info --- according to your Japanese page, there will be quite a number of material changes in the interior. Look forward to the unveiling next week.

I think if the Japanese image is true, the current LED headlights will be standard and the premium tri-eyed headlights are extra. The HID headlights will be ditched (finally!)

As Charles Barkley would say, that front bumper looks "turrible"

I hope that's it, so I wouldn't have to be jealous

if you look closely, the shape of the headlight is the same as the teaser. so this bumper shown may be it.

This is my guess as well and could very well be true if you compare this to what we've seen with RC and GS models. Could the original teaser image be a IS-F actually ?

If they come out with an IS-F, I will be very sad and disappointed with my 2014 IS350. I will look at her and say why aren't you an IS-F? Like she was the last person to be chosen to a team. #FirstWorldProblems

I would be shocked if we see an IS-F again. I don't believe it'll happen.
