I have a nebula gray pearl is3, but still debating how dark i should tint. Post your pics of your is3 nebula gray pearl with tinted windows, it's % tint and kind of tint (regular, carbon, ceramic), back and front.

Tbh, it's your preference and taste. If you want to keep your car cool and have a bit of privacy then I highly recommend you getting 5% in the rear and 35% in the front the fact that you live in California and if you're paranoid of being pulled over.

SunTek CXP 35% (I have no connection with the dept - gotta keep it legal)
Since you don't have to worry about tickets, go with what you think looks best.
I don't like super dark tint because I can't see jack at night.

Looks great! I have 35% all the way around too ... My girls car has really dark tint all the way around and it sucks driving at night. I think 35% is a good balance of tint and still being able to see!

Wow! your car looks great! does 35% look different depending on the brand? and is yours carbon tint or ceramic?
35% front isnt "legal" still but its only CHP usually that gives the tinting tickets in Califonia

No less than 70% in the two front windows. The back windows can be as dark as you want. The windshield can't be anything than what is stocked (if car was built in California). Usually only CHP gives you ticket for tinted windows since fix it tickets go to state's funding and CAlifornia Highway Patrol are a state agency.
Really stupid in my opinion because it gets hot as hell in California, especially with the drought. While states like Arizona, Texas and even Oregon have no tint laws

Local tint shops should have different samples for you to view. My husband has the same tint as me, he has black interior (mine is light gray) and his tint looks way darker than mine. He actually got pulled over a couple of weeks ago because of his tint.
My tint is carbon, it's supposed to have superior heat, infrared, and UV rejection. I have no complaints.
