Default Just curbed F-Sport rims...

So I just curbed my fsport rims today for the first time like a dumby. I thought about getting the phantom grey touch up paint pen but read that the color is not a perfect match. Can anyone recommend a rim repair specialist or shop in NorCal/East bay area.

West Coast wheel repair. They are in Fremont I believe. I'm not sure if that is around your area.

It is closeby actually, thanks. Do you know how they repair the rim? Is it by sanding it down or filling it in? And i want the color to be a damn good match haha

I curbed one of the wheels on my previous car (STI), and had really good success with Curbside Wheel Repair.

The guy's name is Kris, and he is a mobile business. I believe he operates out of the East Bay, but he can come to your work or home. I had him come out to Redwood Shoes. Whole thing took about an hour, and rates were very reasonable - I think I paid about $100-120.

The damage I had on my wheel was similar to the damage you have on yours, albeit not as long.

However, the end results were (I thought) really good.

After trying the paint, let us know what it looks like when you pick up the wheel from the repair shop....

I would not be worried about the paint color. You will be able to see the scratches.

Fsport Grey wheel color is very hard to match. be careful who you goto.
I would ask around and see if they have worked on Lexus wheels in the past or not.

I know there is a wheel repair guy that does contract work for Lexus Serramonte that does really good work.
I've seen a F-Sport wheel he's repaired before and could tell where the damage was at all. Color was spot on as well.

yeah that's what I'm worried about most now. I'm considering Keith from Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist or Kris at Curbside Wheel Repair. Both appear to be really reputable and artisans in their craft.

Welcome to the club..I've curbed the F Sport rims more than all my other cars combined. Thanks to all the curbed wheels I've seen on this forum....I got the wheel insurance from Lexus. Paid for itself after the second time.
