IS350 F sport, 235/45/17 all around?
Ok,
I have two issues with the stock wheels on my 2014 IS350 F sport.
The first is that the roads in the Bay Area are not well maintained enough for low profile tires. The stock wheels are going to look like hell soon.
The second is that I am not a fan of staggered wheels. On a Porsche OK, but not a sports sedan. I would rather be able to rotate the tires to get mileage out of them.
The solution I have come up with is from Tire Rack. OZ wheels in 17" with Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 235/45/17. It's a little wider in the front, a little narrower on the rear. My only real concern is the wider front, as I don't want rubbing.
Has anyone run this size before, even in an 18" tire?

You should be fine. You're losing an inch in the wheel alone. You may end up with more wheel gap than stock. Post this question in the wheels & tires section, it's sponsored by tire rack.

with 235 in the back, your handling will change, probably not for the better.
having a 235 in the front will not rub with the correct wheel offsets.
If you want a nice cushy but still sporty ride, i suggest 17x9+35 with 245/45/17 (245 minimum, you could always bump it to 255 square too)

My base 350 came with the square 17" wheel setup. 225/45/17 all around. I can't see 235 on 17" wheels being much different and won't rub unless you change the wheel offset dramatically in either direction.
