Looking to change front/rear turn signals to led. Can anyone suggest the options to do so? I would need a dual filament for front as its signal and running light . In that case would switch back suffice? Also I've read and researched about hyper flash or other issues with installing led bulb only .. Has anyone changed the 8 pin flasher relay is that what our cars use? I'm at the point of giving up on this mod LOL. I don't want to splice wires with resistors I've looked into ijdmtoy relay kits but there are only single filament only..

Try Vleds V3 tritons. I have them on my GS350 and I'm super happy with them. I bought 2 resistors from them as well and I've installed one on each side in the engine bay as they do get hot. Mounted them to the body frame in the engine bay and I've had no issues so far.

I believe the 3rd gen cars, they got rid of the relay and it's integrated with the instrument cluster itself, so you would need to use a load resistor.

You could try these LEDs (quoted from a different thread).

Here are two videos of it from the user showing front and rear.

I don't want to spend a ton of money just like the look of led on the turn signal I want brightness close to stock or tad brighter but just in led form. I need to use dual filament type for fronts as I have hid and the amber reflector on the side used for running light/signal 7444na. Anyone suggest the switch back style led bulb for fronts 7443/7444na with 7443 resistor cable?

I didn't know that was the case I saw on jdm LEDs site and they told me it was under the bash under steering wheel..and that this would work on years 2001-2014 Lexus IS ...a review even said it worked on a Lexus IS 350/250..if that the case then I'll need the plug and play resistor.. I'd prefer true plug and play no splicing..

If I just use 2 resistors for the front for example do I still need another two for the rear or Can I just plug in the leds and not get fast flicking?? So much options places sizes resistors etc so it's a bit redundant !

Oh, the video isn't my car. It's someone's car I found on YouTube who has those LEDs and has put load resistors to make them work.

Jeff Lange is able to confirm because I recall he told me that the gen 3 cars don't have the relay anymore.

I didn't get these yet but I eventually plan to but need to find places which sells them. Those are the Philips Ultinon LED Amber turn signals. They make theirs with street legal in mind, so the beam and pattern is proper.

I believe they go for over $50 dollars +.

Check Rakuten, and eBay.

anyone know if these would work for the front headlight turn signal to replace stock 7444na?

is it possible to use at least 7443 style bulb as front turn signal? IS THIS A DUAL FILAMENT TYPE- amber parking light + turn signal?

anyone know how big the bulb should be to fit in front/rear housing...many different kinds of led 7443's in different sizes???
