Default Tuned 2015 IS350F from Dubai

Greetings from Dubai !

We have a tuner here in Dubai who does tune Lexus and Toyota ECUs.
I tuned my is350 with an AFE intake and gained 20whp versus stock.

Below is a run after the Tune.
I have more videos and a couple of races on my Youtube channel

The gains with the intake are noticeable and the car breaks traction more often

Do you have a dyno sheet?

Didn't I read somewhere on this Forum of a company selling a tune kit that gave you 20HP more. Only problem was the Lexus computer slowly compensated and the increase in HP was eventually lost.

How much did it cost you to tune the car, and where did you do it?!

unless someone figures out how to turn off the 'learning' feature of the ecu, tunes on the stock ecu will eventually be lost.

there's tons of threads about lexus's adaptive ecu's, across multiple platforms, and why tuners don't tune them.

There is nothing as such. At least with my Tune and friends who have the same tune.
I had this tune for around 3 months now and I do not feel any loss in power whatsoever. At first I tuned it on Bone Stock setup, then re-tuned it after the intake.

This is a proper ECU Remap with adjustments to the Timing, Air/Fuel ratio, Shift RPMs, Throttle response e.t.c.. not just a shadow mapping in the ECU.

This is not the same. ECU did not compensate itself or anything.

How many miles have you driven post tune? Have you had the car dyno'd following the tune, then again at 10k miles later?

My bets are that the ECU removes all gains eventually.

For what its worth, there's been some major developments in the ISF department in terms of tuning the past few days: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/cl-...e-finally.html
