I had my windshield swapped yesterday due to a crack. I take the car for a ride and the warning came on for the hood being open.

I pulled over and lifted and closed the hood. It latches as if it were closed, but after a bump it pops open again. I noticed after closing the hood I can pull it up without much effort.

I'm guessing the latch is broken though I don't see anything wrong with it. How could the guy break the latch changing the windshield? Is the latch adjustable? I tried the release lever after closing the hood and it doesn't feel like it requires the normal amount of force to release.

Frustrating as hell. I hope the dealer has the part tomorrow. Sorry for the rant just pissed.
