2014 IS 350 vs. 2016 IS 350
Hi guys! Brand new to this thread and was wondering..
Is there a difference between the 2014 IS 350 and the 2016 IS 350 both with the F-sport package. I'm in the search for a new car right now, and it's between a used or new. I would be saving more money with the used one, but if there are issues with the 2014, I'd rather go for a 2015-2016.
Note: the 2014 has about 22.4k miles on it
Thanks!

2015+ will have ventilated seats.
2016 has the adaptive cruise control and such.
Not sure of other differences.

I've owned both so just to add, the '16's are a lot less laggy with the navigation as the upgraded the hardware starting from the '15 model year, heated steering wheel is available, ventilated seats, rear view camera with dynamic gridlines as the 14's only have static gridlines ( lines don't move as you turn the steering wheel while you turn), plus 2 new exterior colors available.
That's all I can think of which are the major changes off the top of my head.

To add to the above, the '14 will have a glossier plastic on the center console (scratches easily) whereas that area has a mat finish on '15 and on. The '14 F Sports also do not have the F Sport emblem on the back.

Besides some minor feature and console finish changes, no other changes.
However, as far as issues go, some '14s had:
1. Problematic Infotainment units that would hang and/or reboot. Fix: Replaced entire unit under warranty.
2. Battery drain issue. Fix: Some had batteries replaced without issue while others still had the erratic problem. What was in the works is an ECU replacement for affected vehicles.

I can attest that the ML sounds awesome. Read that it lacked bass in a previous post and that had me worried a bit. From my experience, I don't think that it is the case.
