Agreed, the body lines really separate the third generations apart from the second gens.

Once you drive a Lexus it's tough to drive anything else

I was thinking the opposite. Lexus for the longest time had poor driving dynamics for most of their vehicles. The original IS300 was great but the 2IS was disappointing. The E90 3 series was a great handler as was the E46. I felt even Infiniti had better driving dynamics than any Lexus vehicle (outside of the LFA of course). The 3IS really surprised me with its driving characteristics.

I think the more accurate statement would be "it's tough to own anything but another Lexus" after having years of trouble free ownership with my previous Lexus. Now they finally upped the ante with the latest generations by adding some fun factor.

Have you test drive 2008-2014 Lexus IS-F?

I haven't. I was mostly speaking of their non specialized cars and I admit I hear the IS-F in 2012 was really good after they tweaked the suspension. I hear even the 2IS f sport was a big improvement but the pre 2012 regular 2IS was blah. I test drove it many times wanting to love it but I found it wasn't enough for me to buy it. The 4GS was also a big improvement over prior generations also but I was a little disappointed they didn't have a V8 option. The GS-F is a little too expensive for me to consider too.

How much was your OTD, if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking to get one too, but prices were a little iffy. I'm thinking White on Black for my color combo.
