IS350SWFL

I have a 2015 IS350 F-Sport. While accelerating, the engine sounds fine, but it sounds aweful when idling. Don't know how else to describe it other than like a rattling sound...it's just not smooth. Is this "normal" or should i schedule a service appt for my car?

just go to the dealer, no point in guessing what it is. i'm guessing your car is under warranty still and this will cost you nothing out of pocket.

for future posts, if you want forum members to be helpful in IDing a sound, you probably should post up a sound clip

I have the same issue, loud at idle. My 335 was very quiet when idling, I wonder if this is normal.

Direct injection. 100% normal.

If it's a ticking noise at a constant frequency, then it's probably normal. If it's not constant or not a ticking noise, then I'd take it in.
