Does anyone else have this combo in their car?

I was expecting my escort 9500ix to go off constantly when using the radar cruise control and having Pre collision on.

In my limited testing today and yesterday, it seems like these two systems have NO effect on the 9500ix... I don't know if I should be happy about that or not.

For a while I thought maybe the 9500 was busted and not reporting radar, but I had radar cruise on (no beeping)...and out of no where I got a solid K band beep, wouldn't you know it 1/4 mile down the road a cop was running radar for speeders. I had cruise set at the speed limit so I never turned it off... went right by the cop radar reporting full signal and it dropped off after I passed.


The reason this is weird is that I've read TONS of people reporting that Radar Cruise and PCS sets off their radar detectors and mine seems to be opposite.. so anyone else have some data on this one?

I've only heard that interference with the radar detector comes from other vehicles with PCS and DRCC enabled

That certainly seems to be the case here and is a welcome surprise!? I assumed that my radar detector would be useless with PCS and DRCC...

Does anyone know what band PCS and DRCC operates on?
