I swapped out the regular air filter for a K&N, the rest were Toyota parts. I'll probably go to that shop for my next service. However, I'll switch to Royal Purple from Mobil 1
What did they do other than change the oil and filters?

I would have saved the 150 and just do everything myself. Then get some steak and lobster afterwards.

What's the part number for the oem filters you guys have? Heard there is a made in Japan and made in Thailand version

For a 2014-15 IS 350 RWD it is 04152-YZZA3. $4.38 at mylparts.com, a bit more on eBay but shipping included: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-TOYOTA...-/201477463534

20k list

20K is pretty much oil and filters. The rest of the service items are checks. The dealers in my area wanted between $399-599 for the 20K so the choice to go to a local shop was easy.

UFB. My local mechanic charges $60.00 for a synthetic oil change and filter, and the "inspections" are free. I change my own cabin air filter which I buy online for about $15.00. No need to change the air filter at 20K miles. And with the 18 inch staggered wheels you can't rotate them anyway.

The staggered wheels you can rotate them side to side just not front and back. The air filter is washable so it's essentially a permanent filter, washed every 10k miles for my time frame of ownership.

Interesting. I just had my 5K inspection done and my Lexus dealer told me they can't be rotated. Are they just trying to avoid doing the work, or ??

I think it's because it's optional. You can if you want, but the majority of people never rotate them so you have to ask for it.

If you have F Sport package the tires on the rear are wider. You should not rotate, dealer is correct.

But.... even so, shouldn't you rotate them side-to-side?

I've found that most if not all the tires that I've bought for the two IS350's (2007 & 2014) that I've owned have been directional, so they shouldn't be rotated left to right..

True for your tires pehaps, but the OEM tires are NOT directional. So why wouldn't the dealer rotate them?

Thanks for this thread. I'm at about 18,600. I think I'll take it to a shop. I went to Japan Tech for the brakes and I like them. I don't like the fact they don't have a waiting room. Any suggestions for the Burbank/North Hollywood area? I have no clue where the cabin filter is located by the way.

Both help fuel economy, by the extended performance can go up to 15k miles vs 10k on the fuel economy. You also need a 15k oil filter along with the Mobile 1 extended performance.
