PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
2. CUSTOMIZE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY
(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the clock assembly.
