2014 vs 2016 IS
Good day,
I own a 2014 Lexus IS 250 F-Sport AWD. As of 2016, the car has been replaced with the IS 300, using a 3.5L V6, improved HP and Torque figures, and 0-60 in 6.1sec. I know fuel economy dropped 1MPG, but that's fine considering the performance delta.
For 2015 MY, I think they added LED fogs(non-F-Sport), and Moving lines on the backup camera, as well as Siri eyes frees. Anything else?
My questions, can anyone provide a complete detailed list of change between 2014 IS and 2016, any packages changes, more features added, additional acessories, I know there's a new Blue Mica coloe. But it would be appreciated if someone could give a detailed run-down, or where to find it. Any other than engine mechanical changes? Thx in advance.
Also, since both 300 & 350 use 3.5L V6 engines, what's the relationship and what engine family do they belong to, and why is their the performance delta, what changes were made. Has the 300 engine been used in any other Toyota/Lex products?
Also, in 2014 I don't think their was a heated wheel option. Is it possible I could order the heated wheel and have the dealer install it on mine? Thx.
Sorry for lots of questions, thx in advance for your help.

I've owned both 2014 & a 2016 350 F-sport so all I can say is that the biggest changes were ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, hardware & software updates to the navigation system which made it a lot less laggy and grid lines for the backup camera. The Ultrasonic Blue you mentioned is only on the F-sport models.
Besides this and the available new 200t engine, the rest is pretty much the same.

The IS300 and IS350 use the same 3.5 liter V6 (2GR-FSE). The 300 is just tuned for less power (software changes only, I believe).
