Aftermarket fogs for 3rd gen IS 250/350F Sport
#142
I talked to a iJDMtoy rep and sent in a warranty claim form for these fogs. Both sides have condensation build-up and the passenger side is dimmed/burnt. I'll continue to update you guys on progress.
FYI - I installed the fog lights for a couple of members over this past weekend and they both had the new versions. The new version are much cleaner as pictured above, the LEDs are a little bit larger also and looks brighter, and they match the stock headlights much better also - hint of blue.

With my 335, the rear fog lights were installed from the factory (even for USDM models) you simply had to install a switch (or modify the original one) to enable the ability to turn them on and off. Does anyone know if the IS is similar? I'd imagine if so it'd be easier to install on the IS rather than deal with the Canbus system of the 335i.

Based on the looks of it, the wires seem rusted and the glue job is horrible.
I don't want to pay someone to install them again when I'm not even sure if it would last.
I believe that I am in a position to ask them to either give me a refund, or give me store credit and when the new versions are back in stock, I would just have them send me those instead.
Let me know what you guys think about the situation I'm in.

^^^ That's not rust, that's flux used to make the solder flow better. I can't tell the glue job, but as long as it is epoxy and it is out of sight once installed, it shouldn't be an issue.

So I received my fog lights from ijdmtoy and I'm not pleased on the way how they fixed it.
