Default 3M Vinyl Wrap on Grill and Window Frame

This was very
Easy except for 1 spot curved on spindle. Window was not complete but gives idea before and after. I didn't do the best job but didn't cost me arm
And leg
Either !!😊

Trial and error taught me that it's easier to measure and cut the strips first then apply it all at once. Cutting the strips was the longer and harder part! Would not recommend prof install as you can do almost as good on your own. Heat gun prob better especially if you are in colder parts now. It's mild here about 60 with tons of rain from hurricane Patricia. The 3M vinyl is pretty thick but stretches easily around curves. Happy with the results as more sporty look with black out.

Andy - nice! How much did they charge you parts and labor? I bet the carbon version probably doubles the price over normal wrap?

tx - It was free My buddy owns a sign business and 3M gave him a roll (50meter X 54") of the carbon fiber. He has been trying to get rid of it, so I was like WTF the price is right. What is can tell you is it took about 2hrs to wrap the various areas.

I got quoted 400 for the window trim from a reputable vinyl wrapping shop on Long Island NY, for the amount of work and vinyl needed that is ludicrous. Bought 3M vinyl on Amazon and am attempting it myself this weekend.

It's super simple to do and not worth paying 400 to install. Window is much easier to do than grill as less curves.
