Yesterday i went out and turned in my Ultra White 2014 IS350 F-Sport and leased a 2016 IS350 in USB with Rioja Red interior.
Really love the USB color, absolutely beautiful, got a lot of looks today!
Changes from 2014 i noticed,
- Heated seats are better....the heat seems to be warmer than the '14 model.
- I used the Ventilated seats today for the first time, its nice but i'll really test it out next summer when i'll probably need it more.
- The software is a lot faster, smoother, less laggy than the '14 model which i updated once during the 5k service.
- The center console is not that glossy finish like in the '14. This is more of a matte finish and i think its less prone to fine scratches. But i personally like the look of the older model with the pearls in that gloss black.
- Heated steering wheel is gonna be helpful as i do keep one hand at the 3 o clock position.
Overall, I am very pleased with the color as that's the main difference. If any one has any questions, feel free to ask or PM me.
Based on your description, I think it's basically unchanged from the 2015 model. I really wish that USB is available when I bought mine. Really nice color.
Nice! I most likely will be doing the same thing next year when the 2 year lease is up on my 2015. I definitely want black interior this time around though. I've had my fun w/ the white/red combo. Crossing my fingers the 2017 is a 300t too!
