Default New IS Owner, Hello!

Hey guys,

Recently purchased a 2014 O. Black IS350 F-Sport w/ roughly 14k miles.

Absolutely love the car! It is my first Lexus.

Funny enough, before I purchased my last car (2011 Mazda 3 GT) I was actually wanting a 2009 Lexus IS350 and fell in love after a test drive. At that time I got an incredible finance offer on the Mazda and couldn't turn it down.

4 years later ended up in the car I wanted!

Just wanted to say hello and also ask a quick question.

I recently got tint done on the car at a very reputable shop in town that is very highly rated. Overall, the tint job was fantastic, but I noticed a few days ago (been about a week) that the very upper portion of the bottom weather stripping on my front driver side window was cut off (Probably from the razor blade when cutting the tint).

It honestly is very very minor and it doesn't appear the seal is broken at all. I know the part is about $50, but wondering if it is worth fighting. You honestly couldn't even tell from looking and the only thing I am wondering is if there could be any damage to internal parts if water did potentially leak into the window (doesn't appear this could happen since it was just the very outer part and the top tip that was cut).

Thanks!

first, congrats on the new car, second, it would not hurt to try, the worst thing can happen is they say "no".
