I have a tire place in Sherman oaks that's very competitive pricing. Called Service tires. Check them out. I use them to do all my tires and they are very competitively priced and will meet any price you have check them out

I have also purchased tires from Wesco Track & Tire in Van Nuys and they are also very competitively priced. I purchased tires for both dealers for my Is's

I have Dunlap tires on my RC 350 fsport and I'm very happy with them

+1 for Michelin PSS first time owner and I love them.

Switching back to stock wheels and turanza all seasons for winter though

This is a review of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 tires. These tires are marketed as "Ultra High" or "Maximum" performance summer tires with a Z speed rating. They are good highway tires offering a quiet ride that is softer / more comfortable but their performance suffers significantly once you expose them to weight transitions as occur in spirited or aggressive driving. The sidewall is too soft and allows too much flex. Bottom line; These are not representative of the industry standard Z rating."
That's why I didnt reply to your last post as it really comes down to personal preference. $245 over the course of 1-2 years isn't much, but not everyone can afford that even still.

Remember that's only one review, there's hundreds of forum reviews on the internet too (both positive and negative). That review is from 2012 so that might be the original V1 V12's not the current V2 V12's. Too many variables to make a judgement just on a single review esp. that one.

Just IMO of course, lots of good tires in the $500-$1200 range either way. I think you'll be fine with just about any of them.

Thanks. Just one review. It comes down to how one will drive I guess. The Hankooks seem like they're superb on a freeway and daily roads -- and really when you get down to it that's the way most of us drive -- but the MSS seem like they have no real weaknesses.

You know you're a car fan when you take nicely staged shots of you're tires.

Got my MPSS. What a great improvement over the OEM. Would have been worth it to swap them out 1st thing. Michelin offers some nice perks as well, http://www.michelinman.com/US/en/tires/warranty.html
