Default Anyone know how to replace D4S bulbs with factory HID's?

I'm having an issue removing the old bulbs from factory and trying to install new 8k D4S bulbs. Anyone know how to remove the bulbs? Any help would be appreciated. 2015 IS 350 F-Sport

If they are HID you turn the plate that looks like aluminium with fins on it counterclockwise which exposes the bulb fitting. You then remove the clips holding the bulb in to replace it. I removed the airbox & water bottle filler to get my hands in there easier.

Here's the top view of the passenger side headlight. I don't see any aluminum plate with fins on it.

Fair enough - but when I googled OP's location the only thing that came up was in the US. And here the F-sport comes with LED headlights

Is there a DIY thread on changing HID bulbs (non LED) headlights?

Searched but couldn't find anything
