Trade your 3is in
Just wanted to see if any would trade their 3is for a rc350 or rcf...I'm just asking because I have the opportunity to do so without taking any hit in negative equity

I would not trade it for an RC350, but probably would for an RC F if it weren't for my need to bring kids and car seats with me.
I'll be trading in my IS in the next 6-12 months and am already struggling with what to replace it with.

I have a family and at the time when we moved we needed something reliable with room, now that we're settled and have another family vehicle I now have the chance to get a coupe or just roll with the Is

I wouldn't get an RC. Same engine with 150lbs more weight Roll with the IS or get a GSF

+1. New GSF ftw! RCF is nice as well, but prices are much higher than an IS. I've got months before I turn mine in. GSF, Audi TTS, S3, Golf R, AMG-anything, or BMW will probably be the replacement.

People are missing the point. Lexus IS350 Fsport is in the 50-55k range. The RC-F is in the 70-80K range. The m3/4 loaded up is close to 90K. I test drove the m4 before it really hit the market and went to get numbers. Even on a lease, with close to 5-10k down without running credit numbers were in the 1200 range a month. My rant, its a different class of car with a different income requirement. Personally, I love my 350f sport and its modded quite heavily. Yet, I miss the turbo and/or the real displacement. This car needs to be faster, period. Im debating on headers and the jury is still out on the RRM Tune. The VRtune is a joke in my eyes. Its not a tune and same results can be had with cheaper mods. Personally, I really want the f80 m3. Its a smaller 4 door with the speed and your mods carry. A chip tuine add 70 whp!!! Then again, its turbo vs NA.
Ok rant over. Im seriously looking at the RCF but need to test drive one in order to get the juices flowing. Of course, I would have a serious exhaust on it off that bat. I think the GS is just too big.

I don't think people are missing the point. The OP asked if people would trade their IS350 for an RC F, and people have responded appropriately. We understand that the RC F (and GS F) are more expensive, but that's the question that was asked.

By me ( in DC metro area ) they are pushing Mas Ghibli for 499 a month. I call BS, as retail is close to 90k too. My freind wanted the car and his paymetn is 1k a month. But then again, he does well and so does his wife. Ive actaully had people trade their M3's ( coupe ) in for other cars due to the high payment. Not arguing funds, but more the class of car and what they cost.

Thanks for your responses, just as JB5674 stated the car does need more power IMO, the only reason I'm asking about the rc and rcf is due to the fact the deal is only through Lexus....if I had the option to trade it for a Bmw or Merc and still come out with the same deal I would think about it also
Don't get me wrong, I really do like my 3is it's just they threw this deal out so I figured I would see what some of your inputs are
