Check out the detailing forums. There's tons of information there.

I use meguiars quick interior detailer and griots interior detailer and wipe my seats down with a plush microfiber every week and after a year they still look great. Don't overthink it.

I'm still a bit torn on the NuLuxe.

Pros: Easy to clean, feels very soft. Steering wheel still feels brand new - not all shiny and slippery like a typical leather wheel gets after a couple years.

Cons: Feels a bit fake and rubbery. Miss the smell of real leather.

Meguiars quik interior detailer is an amazing product, comes in liquid bottle or wipes. You can use it on all the materials in the interior including the seats. Leaves them looking factory fresh and has a matte finish. You can also try Chemical guys innerclean but imo it is the exact same thing as the Meguiars and costs triple the price (3.99 for Meguairs vs 11.99 for Chemical guys)

I use Mothers VLR. It has an amazing smell and the NuLuxe becomes extremely soft.

Detailer pro series... pretty cheap and big bottles last a loooong time.

You can use either product on the entire interior except for the cloth surfaces. If your car isn't that dirty, you only need to use the surface protectant. I like to go over my interior using both products every 3-4 months or so and then I go over it with only the protectant as necessary in between.

For the F-sport, and I'm assuming this is true for the non-F-sport, the nuluxe and all the interior trim parts of the dash and doors can be cleaned with just this product! I absolutely love this fact because most luxury cars have a smorgasbord of leather, alcantara, plastic, hard rubber, soft rubber, vinyl, carbon fiber etcetera and you have to use 3 to 4 and sometimes more products and also different pile types of microfiber towels.

I remember cleaning the Alcantara seats in my old IS-F... I had to prepare a warm diluted solution of Woolite and spray it very lightly and evenly onto the seat and gently blot the moisture out and finally comb it with a suade brush to prevent it from pilling. It was a 1 hour job and It felt ridiculous but I knew it was necessary to keep it looking new. I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore. Nuluxe is king.

For the leather (non- F Sport) and the nuluxe portions of the interior, I applied CarPro cquartz Leather and Vinyl coat. It is supposed to be oleophobic and hydrophobic. It is also supposed to resist stain transfer and lasts for 1-2 years. Time will tell if it holds the claim.

I clean my seats and all the leather in my car with a microfiber cloth and little bit of water. It works really well. no need for additives . my car still has the new car smell and it looks great. all that leather cleaning things do protect from the sun harmful rays but after a while your leather is gonna thirst for those leather cleaning products. it wont look right with out them.
