2015 IS350 Atomic Silver / Carbon-Fiber Vinyl Wrap / Clear Bra
I joined this forum in 2010 before I got my first Lexus - a RX350. A week ago, made an addition - an IS350 Atomic Silver / Rioja Red Interior. There was just one Atomic Silver in the whole of Arizona, but it came with a Carbon-Fiber Vinyl wrap on the hood, roof and trunk. When I bought the car, it was with the intention off ripping of the wrapping - at least on the hood, if not the roof and trunk. But in the last one week, the wrap on the hood is kind of growing on me. What's your opinion? Leave it on or take it off.
And yes, got the clear bra on the bumper, partial fender, mirrors, door edges and cups - all for $450. See the last picture. Xpel Ultimate self-healing film with a manufacturers 10-year warranty. Anyone in the Phoenix area that is interested can reach out to "smart shield protection". Call Bob Bogdan - he did an outstanding job. He was completely fine with me watching the whole process including machine cutting the film, etc. Great work, high quality film at a very reasonable price.
I've learnt so much from all you folks on this forum in the last 2 months - I read almost every thread before I made up my mind on the 3IS. Thank you!

And thanks everyone for your opinions, the verdict on the wraps seem to be unanimous.

I'm a big fan of a gloss black roof on just about any car, but in this case I would skip it. The car's high gloss paint and contoured lines are too gorgeous to put on a matte black wrap... It kind of dulls the car out in my opinion.
Besides the fact that to me, wrapping the hood, roof, and trunk is quite overkill...

Maybe it's not too late to have the wrap sprayed over with a glossy clear coat by a paint shop
(if you're up for it)
It would look much better. But I would still rip off the hood and trunk.
