Hi, I have a 2015 3IS which has about 5,000kms on it. Was wondering if any of you experience rattles/squeaks from driver's door glass when closed? Usually comes out on uneven roads or after going through a road where the chassis/body gets twisted a bit. I live in the mountains so the roads here are really twisty and has all those weird angles. Thanks in advance!

I have not noticed that issue (5500 miles), the rattle I hear is from the buttons on the driver door due to vibrations when music is a little loud... drives me crazy!

Correct windows are tinted...

Haven't experienced that issue yet since I play music at a low volume because I keep on trying to listen where the noise is coming from... drives me crazy too!

Bringing this thread back alive. My passenger window squeaks quite a bit but only when the window is completely up. My windows were tinted immediately after I bought the car so I don't remember if it squeaked previously. Any suggestions? There are wear marks on the tint at the top of the window. The driver side has similar marks on the window but doesn't squeak.

Try cleaning and applying some dressing to the trim that touches the glass.

I have 3M on mirrors but I don't notice any sound coming off them, but again everything was installed when the car had less than 100 miles on it.

Is the noise sort of coming from the top left of the driver window?

It's coming from the top right of window on the passenger door side. I cleaned the window and the channel thoroughly and it still squeaks. Any other suggestions? Lube? Ok reading on other forums people have used the 303 Aerospace protectant on the window seal to get rid of squeaks. I'll return and report.

Not sure if this is the issue you're having, but it's a pretty common issue with these mirrors (on IS and GS I believe) where paint protection film on the mirrors sometimes make a squeaking/whining noise at higher speeds. It's happened to a bunch of us, and AFAIK the only solution is to remove the film.

Hi guys,

I have this same issue as my drivers door squeaks and rattles from area of the left top corner.

Already tried - seal on the trim, window rubber, place some felt between....also complete change of the rubbers on the door...nothing helped.

Seem to be everlasting problem. What a shame

Ok an update after using the 303 Aerospace protectant. I sprayed the protectant liberally into the area where the top of the window engages the seal and it completely stopped squeaking for a little while. I heard it very very faintly this morning since I'm very aware of the sound and it was ice cold outside which seems to make it worse, but it is no where near as loud. I'll post an update in a weeks time.
