Default Changing exhaust tips on stock exhaust

I was thinking about change the stock exhaust tips to quad tips without changing out the whole exhaust. I was looking to change to the Ark cat back but decided that I like the quiet exhaust so no one in the neighborhood hates me.

Is this possible at a local muffler shop?

looking at something like these.

The main question is will they fit in the stock diffuser holes... I also looked at getting quad tips, but it would be a tight fit!

Those will definitely fit, if you look in the performance section you can see someone put those tips on. And muffler shop should be able to weld those tips on, I wanted to go the route of 4in quad burnt tips but alas they were just too big.

Do you happen to have a direct link to the make and model?

Here's a couple I found.

Depending on the muffler shop thy may have a pair lying around it's worth going and checking first.

Problem with the ones you linked to is that they are 7.35" wide
After I measured the existing opening on the factory diffuser you need something less than 6" wide
there is another one I looked at that should fit but I am afraid they will look too small
what do you guys think?

Doesnt the inlet have to match the stock exhaust? I dont have the car right now to measure if its 2", 2.25 or 2.5?

The quad tips you linked are 2.25, Will 2.5 inches cause fitment problems?

I got the tips finally put on
I purchased them with 2.25" inlest but realized they are too small, so I had muffler shop expand them slightly to fit
take a look and let me know what you think

Looks good man. That is a unique style quad tip since most people usually just got with the normal round quad tips. I'm also planning to convert to quad but waiting to get my rear diffuser first.
