Default Flashing rear brake light

I just swapped out my 2014 IS350 F sport for a 2015. The 2014 rear brake light in the rear window would flash when you hit the brake pedal about 5 times and then remain steady. I really liked this feature and now my new 2015 does not do this. I don't see how to turn this on or off in the settings. Both cars are 350 F Sport models - AWD, NAV Etc. Does anyone know anything about this?

I have seen several other new model IS's and none of them have ever done this. My neighbor has a 250 Non-F Sport. So I assumed it was a 350 or F Sport thing. Any thoughts?

----My 2014 had 20,000 miles and needed tires. The lease payoff was low enough that the dealer bought it out and put me in a new one for the same price. I got a different color plus cooled seats and a few other small differences (And went from black to white).

Why would you want something like that? It's silly IMHO!

Thanks for the info dnasians - The 2014 I had was brand new from the dealership. So it didn't have any aftermarket parts. The reason I like this is the same reason you see it on motorcycles and formula 1 cars etc - to draw attention to the fact that you are braking. It's not silly to me.

I had the brake light modulator for every single motorcycle of mine, makes a big difference to tailgater, and being seen when putting the foot on the brake. I never thought of doing it to a car, but actually it makes sense as well.

This is the one I installed on all my bikes: http://www.signaldynamics.com/backoffxp
