I have had Expel on two previous cars. My installer has both. Our current five cars with clear bras are all 3M, I will continue to use it.

it's holding up great -- no wear, discoloration, stretch marks, etc. i have xpel ultimate on the car.

i had the full hood, full front bumper, full side fenders, mirrors, and rocker panels covered with the edges wrapped over the edges so there are no visible lines.

i can't quite recall how much it cost total. i think 1,500? maybe? i forgot. xpel ultimate is a bit more than xpel's other films.

Honestly I picked at one of them for about 2 mins and gave up. My car is a lease so I'm not too concerned with it anyway. Just thought it was an odd move for Lexus to stick them on the car because they collect so much dirt and look bad.

Just an update on this. Long story short, I ended up having Suntek PPF installed by a different installer on mine and I couldn't be any happier with the quality of the film. I originally wanted XPel Ultimate but this installer only used Suntek and after some research I was convinced it is good quality self-healing film just like the XPel.

I didn't get my headlights done. Now I beginning to wonder if I should get them done. If any of you have clear bra installed, did you get your headlights done as well? Are there any issues installing films on headlights?

I had my headlights / DRL covered with XPEL. No problem at all, it's as clear as if there's no film.

I saw Suntek has cut outs for our headlights. I might have my guy who did the bra come back and do my headlights. I need to replace the ridiculous yellowed oem installed rear door panel bra anyways. He's willing to do a custom cut that are slightly bigger than what I have now.

I dont notice any difference at all from the rest of the car. But its new. Cant comment on the yellowing after a while. But you should get it replaced eventually anyway.
