Same here....
Wonder would it fit on an IS350 AWD

if your car came to a toyota dealership and requested that job be performed i would charge 5 hours. $136x5. But as strict rules goesin a dealership i wouldnt be able to do it anyway, a side job would be a way of doing it.

it wont fit the is350, you will have to look into locating a 2010-14 ISF differential.

it is a perfect fit for the is250 awd but it wont fit a is350 awd. you have to locate a 2010-14 ISF diff.

a 14-15 lexus is250 awd have the same rear differential final drive ratio like a FRS. the 14-15 IS250 awd doesnt come with a torsen.

Would you possibly know if IS300h shares the same differential as IS250?

Interesting post. Never thought someone would take the FT86's rear diff and put it in an IS250. I have both a built Scion FRS and a '14 IS350. But the stock diff isn't that great in the FRS when pushing 450rwhp. But with the stock IS250's torque and whp it would probably be perfect. I know quite a few people on the FT86 forums that have removed their stock FRS/BRZ rear diff for an IS300 rear diff. I'm told the performance is pretty amazing.

However, for those asking about the IS350, even IF the FT86 diff fit in the IS350, I would advise against it unless you are a shop willing to do some testing against how the stock (FRS/BRZ) diff will hold up to the power of the IS350's engine. Just my two cents. I know the FT86 inside out all too well unfortunately.

Default Gear ratio change...

Since anyone who has driven an is250 knows they aren't exactly the quickest cars in the world, I wonder how the gear ratio change alone affects acceleration, specifically 1/4 mile times?

I would also like to know. Acceleration plays a big part in everyday driving

Power output of is250 engine is a match for frs diff. it will hold up for years without any problems

so after running with the frs diff setup i made my ultimate decision to remove it. it murdered my mpg. it was fun to drive and i had the chance to lock it up a few times but it wasnt worth the pretty penny. the is250 rear end is good enough.

How were you able to re-calibrate the speedometer with the different final drive?

I thought it was only a 1 mpg difference?

Speed information doesn't come from the tranny/final drive.
It's a different sensor near the wheel that feeds info. to the abs as well I believe.

So there shouldn't be any change to speed accuracy readings.
Only thing I'm wondering is the top speed, which may get affected depending on how Lexus programmed the speed limiter.
